Analysts say Apple will report second quarter earnings on Thursday.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) on Thursday said it expects to post a profit of $14.2 billion for the quarter ended April 15, bringing its full-year revenue to $44.5 billion.
That compares with a $17.2bn loss reported for the first quarter.
The company expects a net income of $1.4 billion for fiscal year 2016, including a $1 billion profit from selling iPhones and iPads.
Apple reported fourth-quarter revenue of $17 billion, or $0.5 per share, up 21 percent from the same quarter a year ago.
The company also reported that its earnings per share fell to $0 the year ago quarter.
