Carmen opera star Carmen has been shot twice in the head and has undergone a spinal cord surgery

Carmen opera singer Carmen Opera is recovering in the intensive care unit after being shot twice at her apartment in Manhattan’s East Village last night, police said.

Her friend and co-star, Carmen Amoretti, was found with two gunshot wounds in the apartment.

The pair were rushed to Harlem Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.

The New York City medical examiner’s office said Amorett died.

Amoretti was shot in the neck and abdomen.

Her friends were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Her family said the shooting happened on Thursday night around 10 p.m. at the apartment where Amoretta was staying with her parents, who live nearby.

Amorestt’s mother, Maria, said she had just turned her son’s birthday into a party.

She said her son was getting ready to get his first haircut.

“We just had a big party,” she said.

She is listed in stable condition at Harlem Hospital. “

Amorett’s parents had been staying with their daughter at the time of the shooting, and were taking her to a friend’s house.
