Santa Fe Opera’s new season is the most fun I’ve ever had at a football game

SANTA FE, N.M. — It’s hard to believe the New Mexico State Wolf Pack have a shot at their first postseason appearance in seven years.

With just a week left in the regular season, the Wolf Pack are at 6-4 and the third-ranked NMSU Aztecs are at 4-6, with a chance to tie the school record with a win over Arizona State.

This could be a great time to celebrate the Wolfpack’s season.

They’re 7-0-1 with a pair of wins over ranked opponents and the first three games of their seven-game trip, which starts Wednesday in Tucson.

The Wolf Pack won their first six games, including the last five in Tucson before losing at UC Davis on Sept. 1.

The Azteca’s last win came in 2012.
